During Slammiversary, Hulk Hogan announced that new champion Chris Sabin would get a chance to trade in the X Division Title for a World Title shot at the Destination X event. Destination X was a PPV that focused heavily on the X Division in the past and was believed to be scrapped along with many other PPVs. It is the belief that the "Destination X" show will just be an upcoming episode of IMPACT with a theme.
