Quick Results
Jarrett opened the show with a promo1. 3LK (Ron Killings, BG James and Konnan) defeated Abyss, Alex Shelley (w/ Goldylocks) and Nosawa
2. Kid Kash (w/ Dallas) defeated Romeo
3. The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas) defeated Shark Boy and D-Ray 3000
4. Scott D'Amore (w/ Johnny Devine, Eric Young, Petey Williams and Bobby Roode) defeated Chasyn Rance
5. Monty Brown defeated Adam Flash
6. Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles defeated The Elite Guard (Hernandez and Onyx)
- Mark the date as this was the first, of what went on to become countless, iMPACT! to open with a promo rather than a match. Standard promo from Jarrett to hype his title match with Hardy on the next (and final) Weekly PPV. They've been hyping this title match to death so I'm looking forward to them moving on (though I suppose Jarrett vs. Hardy in ladder match headlines the first Victory Road so we're in for months more of this).
- Straightforward showcase match for 3LK serving again as a backdrop to teasing dissension between Shelley and Abyss. It's a shame Shelley and Abyss were used as background players (and playing second fiddle to Goldy a lot of the time) because they could've done some really fun stuff as a team.
- Kash squashed Romeo and put him through a table afterwards with a Frogsplash to hype Kash's upcoming Table's match with Styles. Next segment was The Naturals (for the first time with their much better music) squashing Shark Boy and D-Ray.
- Scott D'Amore (wearing the robe that Roode would go on to wear as a singles guy) beating Chasyn Rance was great fun. He had JB do a big introduction and went on to beat Rance soundly with a Moonsault, Don West was fantastic on commentary too reacting to D'Amore. I always liked D'Amore as a character, he was a big part of the success of Team Canada.
- Monty squashed Adam Flash and killed him with a Pounce, that is all.
- Nothing to the main event other than an tune up match for Hardy going into his title match. I didn't realise The Elite Guard lasted quite this long, but they were just sent out there every time as job guys no different than the Steele Bros.
Closing Thoughts
With the last Weekly PPV coming up I really hope this show has less filler going forward.
I've updated the last two shows with screencaps:
