The show opened and closed with strong video packages, one highlighting
Victory Road, the other TNA in general. Dave Sahadi had come on board
not too long before this and there is a noticeable step up in the
standard of production on the show that only got better as the years
went on.

If the opening match looks familiar, it should because we've seen it
before. Literally the exact same match that they pulled off a previous
iMPACT!, re-dubbed the commentary and put it on this show. There were
storms and hurricanes in the Orlando area at the time so I assume they
couldn't tape a full show for one reason or another. And it was a good
match so it was okay with me.
-
Solid tag match to reinforce Kash and Dallas as a team as Kash had
spent the last month or so in a singles feud with Styles. TNA really
aren't doing much with Sabin here which is a shame because he's capable
of contributing so much more. Same could be said for Red really.
-
Same Jeff Jarrett/Lovett match from a few weeks ago too. I suppose this
is probably more efficient because if they were to tape a Jarrett
squash it'd look the exact same so why bother taping a new one.

Fun Styles/Shelley main event. It's a shame they never got a chance to
go all out against each other in all the years they were in TNA together
because they could've done some really special stuff. This was a nice
taste of what each guy is capable of in a good TV main event.
Closing Thoughts
One of the more enjoyable shows in recent weeks which is funny because it wasn't entirely original content.
