Good Monty/Hardy match and again the extra five minutes onto the time
limit was a non-factor. The first Hardy/Jarrett match on the last Weekly
PPV match was a distinctly underwhelming match and Hardy's standard of
performance to date hasn't exactly been stellar so it's interesting to
see they went with him to main event the first three hour monthly PPV.
Raven and Abyss interfered eventually costing Monty the match.

We had the dreaded return of the squash match as Petey beat a jobber
with a Styles Clash, before mocking Styles. Styles ran out and took
Petey out with a dive. 3LK also squashed a bunch of guys.

We were going to get a third squash match but thankfully Raven ran out
and beat down Brian Gamble before he could face Abyss. Monty and Abyss
ran down and all three brawled for a while including Monty taking a
Black Hole Slam and landing hard right on a microphone which can't have
been pleasant. This was to eventually set up a three way for Victory
Road.

Really good main event and one of the best matches on iMPACT! to date.
An energetic and heated match with great nearfalls and good action.
Finish seemed a little muddled but it didn't take the match down at all.
Very brief miscommunication between Daniels and Storm cost them the
match and Team Canada are the new champs. They teased Hardy vs. Jarrett
at Victory Road would be a ladder match to close the show.
Closing Thoughts
The return of the squash matches but a good opener and a great main event means a good show.
