Interview with Mia Svensson

Next in the series of TNAsylum Gutcheck Interview is the Valkyrie Warrior Mia Svensson.  She is in Bracket 12 which is open for voting May 18-20.

My first question is do you watch TNA and if so how long have you been watching TNA?
I've been watching TNA for a little over 5 years.

What are your thoughts on the new Gutcheck Challenge with the fans voting?
I think the GutCheck Challenge is a good opportunity for wrestlers to be seen who might not otherwise have an opportunity. The fan voting is good, and something different. It definitely holds the potential to show the "powers that be" what the fans want.

Which wrestler inspired you to become a professional wrestler?
I can't say that any one particular wrestler inspired me to become a professional wrestler. It was more so one of those things where I went to my first independent show, and that night decided, "I'm going to do this." Then I made it happen.

Who trained you to be a wrestler?
I trained under "Nite-Stic" Eddie Brown, and have had Allison Danger as a mentor.

Which promotion do you primarily wrestle for?
I can primarily be found at Ring Wars Carolina in North Carolina.

What is your finishing move called and what exactly is it?
My finisher is "Thor's Hammer" - which is a modified spinning powerbomb.

For those that have never seen you wrestle what makes you stand out?
My epic majestic-ness.

Have you ever had a match with anyone in the Gutcheck Challenge?
I've had several matches against Lei D Tapa, who won a contract from the Gutcheck Challenge on TV.

If you could have a match with anyone in TNA who would you choose?
Tara.

What is your gimmick?
I'm a valkyrie warrior.

Is there any wrestler out there that you would compare yourself too?
Not really. I'm just me. And I like to think I'm original. True story.
