Quick Results
1. Chris Harris vs. Christopher Daniels went to a time limit draw
2. Amazing Red, Sonjay Dutt and Chris Sabin defeated Eddie Villa, Cassidy O' Reilly and John McChesney
3. Team Canada (Petey Williams, Eric Young, Bobby Roode and Johnny Devine w/ Scott D'Amore) defeated Rod Steele, Bruce Steel, Mikey Batts and Jerrelle Clark
4. Abyss (w/ Alex Shelley and Goldylocks) defeated Sonny Siaki
5. Jeff Jarrett defeated Frankie Capone
6. Jeff Hardy defeated Kazarian (w/ Michael Shane and Traci)

- Good match between Harris and Daniels and the first time in a long while that there's a match of consequence on iMPACT!. Storm is injured and The Naturals interfered in the final of the best of three series on the last PPV so this is to determine the number one contender. The match goes to a draw leading to Zbyszko deciding that a title match should be a three way (even though he is specifically there to decide a winner in the event of a draw). Good match.

- Fun little showcase for Red, Sabin and specifically Dutt (who was getting a title shot). They spent too long getting the heat on Red though, the comeback was only around thirty seconds long. Dives by Red and Sabin and a Hindu Press by Dutt earned them the win.

- The Steeles, Clark and Batts is like the jobber dream team. True to form they lost (with Petey winning with a Canadian Destroyer). The D'Amore stipulation lasted a whole two weeks of iMPACT! as he was back at ringside for this match. D'Amore and Dusty fought for a while (Dusty was sitting in the crowd because Russo suspended him for getting too involved with Team Canada).

- Abyss beat Siaki after a distraction by Shelley and Goldy. Again it's a shame TNA never did anything with Siaki as he had a huge upside. It's also a shame that TNA wasted Abyss for so long because he's a damn talented big man.
- Might as well combine these two. Both Jarrett and Hardy had enhancement wins to set them up for their title match on the September 8th PPV (the last Weekly PPV as it happens). A gaggle of folks ran out and a big brawl closed the show.

Closing Thoughts
The show started well with a very good Harris/Daniels match but fell back to form after that. Thankfully we're approaching the end of the Weekly PPV days so hopefully there's much less filler after that.
