Due to a recent influx of new visitors, some setbacks and a number of behind-the-scenes departures, I thought it would be best to address the future of our site. This address will pretty much recap the site's vision, its key features and its immediate future.
Its Vision
TNAsylum was created in 2010 by a group of passionate TNA fans. Many of the current writers/reporters on this site have been watching and following TNA for many years. These columnists write about TNA every week and report about it every day.
We want our site to be a "Haven for TNA Fans." What this means is that we want TNA fans to come to our site to be informed, educated and entertained. We are not only a news site, but a magazine, a wiki-page and a community of like-minded TNA fans.
We have strived to be the best "TNA-Exclusive Website" for the past three and a half years of our existence. We recognize a bias against TNA that is seen in other wrestling websites and we want to give our readers a place away from all of that.
Our Features
One of the best things about TNAsylum is the huge diversity of features that can be found on our site. We don't just focus on one or two features, we try and deliver the best for all of our features. Whatever your tastes are, we cover just about every aspect of TNA you can sink your teeth into.
News and Rumors- TNAsylum not only reports on most news and rumors found on the internet but we are also often the first to discover many of these stories. We don't only post the Headline news stories but we also post alot of "filler" content such as the IMPACT365 videos to keep our readers entertained. We always want to deliver more to our readers and keep you coming back for all the latest. You never know what may appear on the site at any given time.
Along with these stories, you can often get analysis from one of our staff members regarding the story. We also try and filter out the crap from unreliable sources as well as irrelevant news stories that may not appeal to our readers. Other sites will blatantly post anything no matter how ludicrous it is, but that is definitely not our focus.
Columns- TNAsylum became known many years ago for our wide selection of TNA-specific columns with their vibrant and colorful logos. While news and rumors have taken on an increased focus on our site, columns remain one of the cornerstones of our original content. Variety is the spice of life when it comes to our columns.
You will find a wide range of styles and themes from many of our talented writers. These may be in written, roundtable or video format. We don’t feed you the same cookie-cutter junk. We believe in high quality, distinct pieces that satisfy your reading/viewing pleasure. We have focused on editorials in the past and we will continue to do so in the future. Live Coverage- We are one of the ONLY TNA-exclusive websites to offer live IMPACT Wrestling Coverage every week. If you want to read our commentary of IMPACT during or after the show, you can. If you miss IMPACT and need to catch up, you can. If you want to discuss the show during or after it, you can. TNAsylum tries to keep its readers informed by keeping tabs of the latest results from all significant shows.
Community- TNAsylum has a very diverse community of TNA fans. Our community was recently described as those "who will get their point across but won't be caught arguing". We believe our community as a group of respectful TNA fans who will debate and not argue. If you want to discuss TNA with fellow TNA fans, our site is a great place to do so. We also offer open discussions from time to time where you can chat about any TNA topic that comes to mind. Join in on the fun whenever you please!
This is TNA- One of our proudest features is TNAsylum's information section known as "This is TNA." In this information section, you can find PPV Results, Title Histories, a Roster Page with wrestler profiles and articles over the main elements of the organization. The section is constantly being updated to make sure our readers are educated.

The Future
While our site may have had a few setbacks and departures recently, we are more excited about the future of the site than ever before. TNA has recently underwent alot of budget cuts and scary times. In a few short weeks, they will be back home and they will be ready to move on from there. We plan on being around to cover it.
In regards to other sites, the more the merrier. Many other TNA sites have members who got their names writing for TNAsylum. We believe that as long as they aren't infringing on our site, we have no problem respecting all of theirs.
We are very excited about this coming December and the 4th annual Year-End Awards. This week we are announcing the final categories for the awards. We have made a few formatting changes to the awards this year but we plan on making things better than ever. Voting for the awards will open on December 3rd and they will be revealed on December 30th and 31st.
As for 2014, we are as excited as ever. We are committed to this long-term and are here strictly for one reason: TNA Wrestling. While it can be difficult overlooking the drama of the internet, we plan on staying on task. Here is to many more years of TNAsylum: The Haven for TNA Fans.
