iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, FL
Quick Results
1. Johnny Devine w/ Eric Young and Scott D'Amore defeated Sonny Siaki
2. DDP defeated Chris Candido
3. Jeff Hammond (w/ 3LK) defeated David Young (w/ Shazarian)
4. Elix Skipper defeated Chris Sabin and Shark Boy
5. AMW (Chris Harris and James Storm) and Dustin Rhodes defeated Kid Kash, Lance Hoyt and Raven

- Decent opener with Siaki looking really good but being beaten due to outside interference. This match was a little strange on a go home show with it not really playing into Against All Odds though it may have been designed as a platform for Tenay and West to talk about the PPV (which they did).

- Okay match between DDP and Candido with Candido continuing to work really hard. Good finish too with a top rope Diamond Cutter. Team Canada came out and challenged DDP to a 4 on 1 fight but Monty came out and Team Canada backed off.

- Jeff Hammond didn't look completely awful, though they didn't really let him do much. A lot of interference to cover for Hammond to set up the tag match at Against All Odds.

- Styles was set to do commentary for the next match which upset Daniels (clearly feeling only he can adequately do guest commentary). Daniels slapped AJ and they brawled before security broke them up. A good intense go home segment between the two. Skipper won the three way in a decent match continuing the slow build of Skipper.

- They did a joint satellite interview with Jarrett and Nash focusing on Nash training for the match and the fact that Jarrett can't use the guitar. The way the got around the guitar stip was fantastic (see the Against All Odds review below for more). Simple stuff but effective.

- It's nice to see these two feuds featured in the go home segment considering they've been neglected a little over the past couple of weeks. A decent match but not a hot segment to sell Against All Odds (though they did close the show with a video focusing on Styles vs. Daniels, Hardy vs. Abyss and Jarrett vs. Nash).

Closing Thoughts
Not a big home run hard sell for the PPV but a good, solid, well structured go home show.

Against All Odds 2005
Quick Results
1. Elix Skipper defeated Petey Williams (7/10)
2. BG James and Jeff Hammond defeated Michael Shane and Kazarian (3/10)
3. Raven defeated Dustin Rhodes (3/10)
4. AMW defeated Kid Kash and Lance Hoyt to retain the World Tag Team Titles (7/10)
5. Abyss defeated Jeff Hardy in Full Metal Mayhem (7/10)
6. DDP and Monty Brown defeated Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) (6/10)
7. AJ Styles defeated Christopher Daniels in overtime in a 30 minute Iron Man Match to retain the X-Division Title (10/10)
8. Jeff Jarrett defeated Kevin Nash to retain the NWA Title (6/10)

A really good, solid show. A good X-Division opener (even if it wasn't as good as the Skipper/Dutt match the month before), Jeff Hammond didn't totally embarrass himself. Raven vs. Rhodes was a slow plod fest. The show picked up from there with a really solid tag title match, a very good Abyss/Hardy match and the fun combo of DDP and Monty shining. Highlight of the show by a total landslide was the tremendous, dramatic 30 Minute Iron Man match between Styles and Daniels where they don't disappoint in the slightest in their first major singles match TNA. Jarrett tried to get out of the guitar being banned by using a cello instead which was great. The overbooking helped this match overachieve a little with Kip James debuting and Sean Waltman returning. A good show.
