Will Chris Sabin Need Surgery?

According to the Wrestling Observer, Chris Sabin will need surgery for his torn ACL. Sabin tore his ACL during the Ultimate X Match this past week. While Sabin was out of action for nearly a year from his other ACL tear, this surgery has an estimate downtime from six to nine months.

Talon's Take:
This is horrible luck for Sabin, who just returned not too long ago from his other ACL tear. Sabin's contract is rumored to be ending around August or September of this year and there are rumors that he may be leaving TNA. His girlfriend, Velvet Sky has disputed those rumors.

In all honesty, we won't know where Sabin stands as a wrestler until he returns. If he returns in about six months that sees him coming back in around December or January. Nine months sees a return of March or April. Who knows what the competition is thinking in regards to a possible signing of Sabin.
