Two Major Storylines in Play (Contain Spoilers)

According to PWTorch...

Beginning on Thursday's "Whole F'n Show" Impact special, two big storylines will be in play in TNA. One is the ECW vs. TNA feud that picked up at the end of yesterday's Impact TV taping for Thursday night's show.

TNA is planning to carry out the ECW vs. TNA feud to Bound for Glory in October, as TNA management is said to be very high on the ECW theme right now. One of the main reasons TNA is continuing the ECW program is strong reactions in the Impact Zone (their very limited focus group) during the Hardcore Justice PPV.

The other main storyline in play will revolve around TNA stripping Rob Van Dam of the TNA World Title. TNA will be setting up a tournament leading to the No Surrender PPV in September to crown a new champion.

The storyline explanation will be that Abyss took out RVD, who will be "too injured" to continue as champion, leading to TNA stripping him of the title.

The angle is expected to play out at the end of Thursday's Impact, with RVD laid out backstage and the implication being Abyss brutally attacked RVD after their TNA World Title match.
